Role: QAD Administrator
Location: Hauppauge, NY
Job Type: Full Time
The QAD Administrator is considered the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and reports to the Director of IT as a key member of the IT team providing in-depth knowledge and expertise in QAD solutions. Your initial responsibility will be to lead the upgrade implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of QAD ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of QAD modules and possess the ability to translate company’s business requirements into efficient and effective solutions.
Responsibilities:
Implementation and configuration of QAD ERP modules, ensuring alignment with our business goals and objectives.
Serve as the go-to person for all QAD-related inquiries, providing guidance, support, and troubleshooting assistance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into QAD solutions.
Conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding and utilization of QAD ERP functionalities.
Stay current with QAD updates, releases, and industry best practices to continuously improve system performance.
Lead QAD system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure the latest features and security measures are implemented.
Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within QAD ERP.
Provide expertise in QAD-related current and future integrations with other systems and applications.
Learn and support other applications used throughout the company environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of QAD modules, including but not limited to Finance, Manufacturing, Distribution, and Supply Chain.
Financial background in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience in configuring and customizing QAD solutions to meet specific business requirements.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with ERP best practices and a commitment to maintaining data integrity.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,751.82 per year
