Essential Functions:
Along with the financial, must be able to manage the scheduling, answer phone, manage the office, help walk-in customers, and help with checking in freight.
· Accounts Payable
o Enter in all invoices
o Prepare weekly check run based on cash flow
· Accounts Receivable
o Invoice all clients
o Make collection calls on routine basis
o Issue past due notices and statements
· Handle credit requests and conduct credit references (if required)
· Perform daily bank deposits as required
· Payroll
· Bank Reconciliations
· Filing and data entry
· Interacting with suppliers
· Managing general ledger
· Government remittances – GST, PST, WSIB,…
· Preparing and analyzing monthly financial reports
· Assist with preparation of year end financial statements
· Assist with budget preparation and ongoing monitoring
· Most important: Ensure efficient and accurate posting of transactions
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
· Excellent telephone and written communication skills
· Professional disposition when liaising with customers, suppliers and co-workers
· Energetic, and strong work ethic with the ability to work both independently and in team environment

Qualifications:
· Related work experience of 2 to 5 years
· Post secondary degree / certificate related to accounting/bookkeeper
· PC knowledge
· Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Hours of work: 8:30am to 5:00, Monday to Friday
