Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of quality systems and the ability to utilize precision measuring instruments effectively. The Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality products.

Duties

• Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform accurate measurements.
• Analyze inspection results and document findings in accordance with established procedures.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols, including HACCP, CGMP, and QA/QC practices.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in the development and improvement of quality systems to enhance overall product quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
• Perform calibration of hand tools per documented procedures

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, including HACCP, CGMP, and QA/QC methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of the manufacturing process to ensure the end product will comply to all customer requirements.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and CMM.
• Experience with analysis software such as Calypso for data evaluation. This can be learned over time.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across departments.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or inspection role is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
