Business Process Optimization Manager manages teams that study and develop optimization changes to an organization's business processes to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability. Conducts research on best practices and industry trends for the business. Being a Business Process Optimization Manager oversees the in-depth analysis of existing workflows. Utilizes flowcharts and process maps to define existing processes and identify areas needing improvement. Additionally, Business Process Optimization Manager engages and organizes subject matter experts and cross-functional groups to collect inputs. Implements the tools required to collect and measure relevant data, identify key performance indicators (KPI), and produce a data-driven analysis of critical functions. Introduces new business processes to the organization and produces documentation, tools, and training to support adoption. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Business Process Optimization Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Process Optimization Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What You Will Do

    Responsibilities for a QC Tech include:

    Team Leader:

    • Effectively work with others to implement improvements to quality and/or performance.

    Construction Quality Control:
    • Confirming only approved welders, procedures, materials etc. are being used in construction.
    • Job is performed professionally, safely and without bias.
    • Weld and heat mapping.

    Document Control:
    • Document inspection results by completing reports/logs and inputting data into OPD's Construction Management System (CMS).
    • Ensuring pressure test documentation is being built per OPD and client specifications.

    We expect all field employees to:

    • Serve as an accountable leader of Safety and Environmental Concerns at Field Sites.
    • Actively participate in a strong safety culture
    • Recognize safety hazards and risks
    • Participate in onsite safety meetings
    • Follow OPD and client safety policies and procedures
    • Be aware of changing conditions on an active jobsite
    • Be on time to the jobsite each day ready for work
    • Display a positive attitude and be able to work in a team environment

    Some physical demands of being a QC Tech include:

    • Capable of working in outdoor weather and environmental conditions including extreme heat and humidity, extreme cold, and high elevations.
    • Standing for extended periods of time up to 11 hours per day.
    • Moving the entire body. Considerable use of arms, legs, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, crawling, twisting, reaching, and bending on a regular basis.
    • Use hands to handle, control, and feel objects and/or tools.

    Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

    • 1 years of experience in doc control for QC in the Oil & Gas Industry.
    • Proven ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers.
    • Basic Computer Skills - able to use Outlook and Teams for emails and meetings.

    Other Job Requirements:

    • Willing to travel 100% of the time to locations that could be outside the Houston area.
    • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

    What Will Put You Ahead

    • 5 years of experience in doc control for QC in the Oil & Gas Industry.
    • Bluebeam experience, weld, heat, etc. mapping.
