Business Process Optimization Manager manages teams that study and develop optimization changes to an organization's business processes to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability. Conducts research on best practices and industry trends for the business. Being a Business Process Optimization Manager oversees the in-depth analysis of existing workflows. Utilizes flowcharts and process maps to define existing processes and identify areas needing improvement. Additionally, Business Process Optimization Manager engages and organizes subject matter experts and cross-functional groups to collect inputs. Implements the tools required to collect and measure relevant data, identify key performance indicators (KPI), and produce a data-driven analysis of critical functions. Introduces new business processes to the organization and produces documentation, tools, and training to support adoption. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Business Process Optimization Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Process Optimization Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive safety initiatives and awareness in assigned areas Actively uses VPO tools to sustain and improve assigned area’s KPIs Responsible for the Safety, Quality, Production and Cost performance of assigned area Schedules and manages all Non Stroke based Maintenance Tasks at the plant level (Trials, major breakdowns, plant shutdown, and take advantage of unplanned downtime) Responsible for the Process Improvement Team for your equipment center JOB QUALIFICATIONS: BS in Engineering or related field required 1 - 3 yrs of Mechanical/Industrial experience preferred Hands on experience with conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems Bending, stooping, twisting and stretching motions required throughout shift. Turn / twist upper body / head while operating the equipment in reverse Requires prolonged sitting, standing and walking. Proven troubleshooting/critical thinking ability Familiarity with punch press operations a plus Able and willing to work a rotating 12-hour schedule, including day and night rotations and required weekend and holiday hours.
