Business Process Optimization Manager manages teams that study and develop optimization changes to an organization's business processes to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability. Conducts research on best practices and industry trends for the business. Being a Business Process Optimization Manager oversees the in-depth analysis of existing workflows. Utilizes flowcharts and process maps to define existing processes and identify areas needing improvement. Additionally, Business Process Optimization Manager engages and organizes subject matter experts and cross-functional groups to collect inputs. Implements the tools required to collect and measure relevant data, identify key performance indicators (KPI), and produce a data-driven analysis of critical functions. Introduces new business processes to the organization and produces documentation, tools, and training to support adoption. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Business Process Optimization Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Business Process Optimization Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     JOB DUTIES:

    The Portfolio and Platform Mgmt team is part of the Data & Analytics Hub (D&AH) organization, within the Telecommunication Global Services group. As part of this team, you will be helping to manage a set of operations supporting the Analytics Insights Management through effective Reporting, Request Prioritization and Management. You may also be involved in activities such as Analytics Insights Management communications, resource management, and other cross team activities. In this role, you will interact with the whole team as well as cross functional teams working throughout Telecommunication bringing new experiences to life for our customers.

    You will be coordinating with multiple teams, organizing highly complex activities for the successful completion of D&AH teamwork: Overseeing all aspects of project implementation to deliver products and services on-time. You display a blend of skills including leadership, influence, business acumen, deductive reasoning, qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, communications, facilitation, leadership presence, tactical ability and project and operational skills and enjoys working across multiple areas in the business with a variety of stakeholders to drive and lead change on behalf of the business.

    What we re looking for...

    * Ability to contribute to requirement sessions with key stakeholders including management of knowledge of key KPIS, timing, and other project aspects

    * Documentation skills to document all validated standards and processes for intake management to ensure accuracy across the enterprise.

    * Knowledge of Analytics and functions of Analytical products like Adobe Analytics, Tableau

    * Good knowledge of VZI teams supporting CX Design, and onshore business groups supported by the D&AH team.

    * High level of working Knowledge and experience in Project Management and tools like JIRA, Confluence etc.

    * Ensure timely allocation and monitor and track the progress of the project

    * Business Analyst in an Analytics team

    * Deep knowledge of Agile processes including Scrum management.

    * Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets

    * You display a blend of skills including leadership, influence, business acumen, deductive reasoning, qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, communications, facilitation, leadership presence, self-motivation, tactical ability and project and operational skills and enjoys working across multiple areas in the business with a variety of stakeholders to drive and lead change on behalf of the business.

    MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):

    * Four or more years of relevant work experience.

    * Advanced skills with project management tools such as Smartsheets

    * Advanced organizational skills and business requirement gathering.

    * Scrum/ Agile Experience

    * Motivation to not only change how we work with our customers, but also in the way that we operate as a business.

    * Effective oral and written communication and report presentation skills to Director and up level executives.

    * Strong interpersonal and project management skills.

    * Exceptional logic, quantitative and analytical skills.

    * Advanced proficiency with Access/Excel/Word/PowerPoint both office & google.

    * Must be able to plan and manage numerous processes and ad hoc projects simultaneously.

    * Ability to be able to work Remote efficiently & effectively with little supervision.

    DESIRED SKILLS:

    * Experience working with analytics tools/platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Excel/Google Sheets, Tableau, etc.

    * 3-5 years in telecommunications or wireless industry is also a plus.

    * Consulting experience or professional services environment experience.

    Skills in digital analytics / customer analytics / Omni-channel analytics

    Results oriented with drive to complete assignments.

    * Experience working with statistical/data mining concepts and techniques.

    Ability to understand a project s technical details (e.g. call flow, billing, provisioning, operations, etc.) and uncover and assess projects risks.

    * Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels: from team members to executive management.

    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

    Bachelors Degree required

    Masters degree desired.
