Work Shift:
1st shift (United States of America)Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Acts as the single point of contact (leader of process engineers) in leading, building, and continuously evolving the process optimization work needed to deliver efforts identified by the Transformation Working Group.
2. Work with Executive Management, Line of Business Management, affected Senior Leadership Team members, business owners (L 2) to understand needs and develop solutions to deliver transformational value to Truist.
3. Provide oversight of process optimization solutioning and monitor the implementation of solutions part of Transformational Programs.
4. Responsible for connectivity between business owners, Transformation program leaders and transformation initiative leads in the transition from ideation to solutioning to execution.
5. Ensure compliance with internal policies designed by the Centralized Process COE related to process optimization and development; ensure regulatory requirements are fully identified and appropriately addressed in the development of newly designed processes.
6. Communicate with all levels of Truist regarding status of process optimization work.
7. Provide ongoing leadership, coaching and mentoring in the development of process engineering team members and ensure they receive appropriate training to fully equip them for their assigned duties.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree plus fifteen or more years of work experience with a broad range of banking and financial services responsibilities.
2. Ten or more years of experience in process engineering and optimization and / or experience working within a line function managing processes or products.
3. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
4. Must be able to effectively communicate with external regulators, Executive Management, LOB Managers, and on through to front line personnel.
5. Effectively manage direct reports and influence without authority to indirectly manage various related activities.
6. Demonstrate a high proficiency in designing, building, implementing, and optimizing business processes.
7. High attention to detail and ability to think at an enterprise level while understanding systemic implications for decisions, etc.
8. Strong analytical skills.
9. Highly organized, logical, thinker.
10. Knowledge of established project management and strategic planning methodologies.
11. Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in a business or related field or equivalent education and related training.
2. Experience in interacting with bank regulators.
