Business Process Optimization Specialist jobs in Eugene, OR

Jones & Roth is looking for a Business Information Specialist to join the team. We are looking for a team member who loves to learn, likes to solve problems and has strong communication skills.

The Business Information Specialist with work with the Team to create, maintain, update, support and document workflows, databases and data integrity verification tools. This position will assist with primary support and installation of line of business software.

Database Management and Quality Control

• Database/front end application development and modifications with assistance
• Monitor best practice data storage and management techniques
• Monitor database integrity during modifications, additions to workflows, front end applications and reporting.
• Monitor and manage database security with assistance
• Documents and enforces security procedures and access controls with assistance
• Maintains documentation of databases and workflows (manual and automated)
• Use and develop tools to identify and resolve errors, missing data and improper syntax among multiple databases and forms
• Develop, modify and maintain workflows and forms in Line of Business Software

Software

• Line of Business software installation, implementation, updates, reviews, recommendations, troubleshooting including the use of online knowledgebases and technical support calls.
• Work with software vendors to resolve issues with assistance
• Setup employees and changes in Line of Business software/databases including setting correct permissions with assistance
• Assists with the selection, implementation, and installation of software applications used by the organization.
• Assist with development and use of BOTs
• Works with the Team to coordinate the resources needed to meet business objectives related to software applications

Reporting

• Assist with development of accurate and timely internal reporting
• Assist with development of PowerBi
• Gathers other reports and data as needed
• Other duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelor's degree with emphasis on database or programming. Or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with SQL Server, Microsoft Access and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with proprietary databases, document management systems, Power BI a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
