What You Will Be Doing

• Evaluate manufacturing processes and make recommendations for improvements to optimize performance.
• Work as a member and leader of various audit teams to ensure the most effective results are produced by the group.
• Perform on-going research and evaluation of equipment, processes, and techniques used externally in the industry.
• Organize and facilitate audit team efforts.
• Lead team in the recommendations of opportunities for process improvements. Assist the team in the implementation of those improvements.
• Perform internal and external benchmarking of key manufacturing processes. Develop best practices manual from benchmarking findings. Perform ongoing searches of manufacturing practices that could provide insight for internal improvements.
• Work closely with the plants quality control team to optimize raw material proportioning.
• Work with the company engineering group in the determination of process equipment selection for capital projects.

What You Need for this Position

• Proven experience as a process engineer
• Conscientious and responsible
• A keen eye for detail and a results driven approach
• Outstanding communication skills
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
• Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
