The Opportunity
Pension risk transfer is a growing business within MassMutual. The PRT Inforce Administration Team provides administration of pension plans and services more than 420k PRT annuitants. The team supports transaction processing for PRT Operations and provides support to longer term strategy and critical initiatives.
The Team
The PRT Inforce Operations team, within PRT Operations, is made up of 25 experienced professionals who collaborate and coordinate across sub-teams to meet customer requests timely and accurately. The Business Operations Specialist manage and support Inforce administration by maintaining and enhancing relationships with internal stakeholders.
The Impact
Business Operations Specialists are responsible for a variety of functions analyzing data and/or forms along with plan parameters to ensure proper processing of client and participant data. Responsible for the processing of financial and non-financial transactions, as well as various types of contributions and/or distributions. Perform in good order review and handle transactions both manual and automated as well as completes analysis and exception processing. Prioritizes work and manages inventory based on SLAs and timing expectations. Handle multiple tasks; work a task queue effectively while maintaining all service and quality standards and ensuring follow up on outstanding items. Drives standardization and consistency of policies and procedures across processes. Focus on continuous improvement through identifying and improving workflows and procedures.
