**Job Summary:**
The Process Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of sales, support, and developing Process industry business as part of the Industrial Automation Group. They will work closely with the Rockwell Automation Area Manager, Rockwell Automation Channel Management, and distributor management to develop and implement the Process business portion of the distributor's business plan. The Process Specialist will be focused on achieving sales goals, resolving customer issues, launching new Process products, and promoting Process-related products during trade shows and customer seminars.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement the Process business portion of the distributor's business plan in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Serve as the focal point for all communications between Rockwell Automation and the distributor on Process technologies
- Resolve customer issues to increase customer satisfaction
- Launch new Process products and provide product training and competency to sales personnel
- Ensure the success of promotional programs from Rockwell Automation on Process business unit
- Actively promote Process-related products during local trade shows, customer seminars, and other distributor promotions
- Provide support to the inside and outside sales force with Process manufacturing expertise
- Maintain required competency through training activities for Process products
- Provide feedback to the Rockwell Automation Area Manager regarding technical and commercial information, new products, promotions, and assistance
- Participate in sales teaming efforts to close account opportunities with account managers and fellow specialists
- Promote the value-add of assigned products in competitive situations
- Define and grow new markets for emerging product technologies
- Maintain targets, opportunities, activities, and projects in Rockwell Automation's and Fromm's business tools
- Handle process responsibility for ancillary products that enhance the distributor's market position
**Qualifications:**
- Technical degree or a combination of education and experience
- Comfortable with sales discussions at and above the manager level
- Knowledge of all aspects of marketing, including market conditions and the ability to administer marketing and promotion programs
- Able to motivate and support outside sales with strong presentation skills
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must adhere to vendor guidelines, compliance, and code of ethics, including but not limited to Rockwell Automation, Siemens, and Eaton
**Physical Requirements:**
- The position involves standing, walking, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Approximately 50% of the time will be spent traveling to industrial locations
