PURPOSE
This position receives new equipment, and equipment returning from rental, helps load and unload equipment, washes/clean equipment, and maintains a clean and organized yard.
POSITION SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Receive new equipment verifying equipment make, model and serial number.
2 Receive rental return equipment by fueling, noting the hours and condition of the equipment.
3 Stage equipment for delivery. Help drivers load and unload equipment.
4 Help customers by greeting them when appropriate and ensuring they receive an excellent customer experience.
5 Prepare and place logos on equipment when directed to do so.
6 Periodically check and crank equipment in the yard to keep batteries charged and oils circulated.
7 Perform minor maintenance services and grease equipment when directed to do so.
8 Ensure the yard is safe, organized, clean, and meets Impact standards.
9 Follow all established Impact safety policies and procedures.
10 Performing general physical activities which require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling equipment and materials.
11 Safely controlling equipment on the yard.
12 Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
1 Possess organizing ability.
2 Must be able to listen to directions and follow instructions.
3 Must be trained in all required safety procedures with all associated certifications.
4 Sense of Urgency with a desire to serve is essential.
5 The ability to promote the Vision, Mission, and Values of Impact.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1 Must have physical stamina and strength to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
2 Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
3 Must work outside in all different weather conditions including extreme cold and extreme heat
