Business Process Specialist, Sr. researches, analyzes, and recommends changes to an organization's business processes to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability. Collects and studies operational and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Being a Business Process Specialist, Sr. develops process documentation and project plans. Creates flowcharts, process maps, and diagrams. Additionally, Business Process Specialist, Sr. supports cross-functional activities and working sessions during projects' design and implementation phases. Designs and prepares documentation, training materials, and communications supporting new processes. May deliver training to impacted business units. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Business Process Specialist, Sr. works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.     The Business Process Automation Representative is a selling consultant. They will build business through prospecting and networking for new business opportunities as well as grow through existing clients that do not have BPA services from Proven IT. The Business Process Automation Representative is the liaison between the sales engineer, sales teams, and IT team at Proven and the client’s IT team or executive team to manage the projects and communication to have the highest level of support and response time.


    Responsibilities

    • Identify new potential opportunities through qualifying while prospecting, during meetings, and conducting an assessment for Business Process Automation services to include but not limited to managed IT services, security, phone systems, company policies, software, hardware, and disaster recovery.
    • Use sales activities & database management to communicate and track project results: prospecting activity, appointments, on-site workflow analysis, solution collaboration presentations, proposals, implementation of solutions, and account reviews.
    • Collaborate with other sales professionals and engineers to develop solutions.
    • Increase education of MNS services with internal partners and external potential clients.
    • Utilize a database and the internet to research prospects and qualify leads to increase contact to appointment ratio benchmarks.
    • Attend and participate in development seminars and company meetings to develop professional skills, business acumen, and certifications.
    • Assess client’s business, analyzing data and costs to provide an accurate assessment of their environment to make educated decisions to support solutions and future growth.
    • Additional duties as assigned.

    Requirements

     

    • BS/BA degree in business or other related field
    • Previous business-to-business sales experience
    • Previous experience in the technology field preferred
    • Background in sales, software, and information technology preferred
    • High Integrity and strives for accuracy
    • Possesses basic business acumen
    • Personal drive and internal motivation toward high achievement
    • Committed to personal development in order to stay up to date on market trends and impacts
    • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment

    • Ability to prioritize and balance work with communication to a team of engineers and sales
    • Able to problem solve
    • Ability to handle obstacles and rejection and perform at the highest level of productivity
    • Must work well under pressure

    Other Information

    • Must be flexible in break and lunch periods depending on work-flow
    • This is an 8am to 5pm position with the potential to go outside of these hours to meet projects deadlines
