Advanced Process Technologies, Inc. (APT) is looking to add a Layout Specialist to our team. The Layout Specialists at APT are key components in creating our custom sanitary equipment used in the food and dairy industries. They are responsible for cutting and forming parts using equipment such as lasers, band saws, rollers, press brakes, and plasma tables. Other responsibilities may include processes such as TIG welding, polishing, and light maintenance of equipment. The variety of these duties aid APT in helping us serve our customers custom needs.

Job Responsibilities:
· Daily production goals based on schedule to ensure on-time, high quality project completion
· Read and interpret prints to ensure accurate fabrication of parts
· Load and unload materials from storage racks using a forklift
· Use rollers, press brakes, band saws and laser tables to produce parts for welding teams
· Assemble components using a variety of powered and hand tools
· Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
· Operate a variety of grinders to prepare, clean and finish welds
· Aid welding teams in fabrication of parts
Requirements
Required:
· High School Diploma or GED
· Ability to read and interpret drawings
· Strong attention to detail
· Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.
Preferred:
· Experience with forklifts
· Knowledge of rigging and lifting equipment
· Experience using rollers, press brakes, band saws, and laser tables
· TIG and MIG welding experience
· 1 years’ experience welding
· Experience with sanitary equipment fabrication
· One or two year welding diploma from technical college or relevant welding experience
· Knowledge of relative safety standards
