Position: Sr Supply Chain Project Manager
Location: Miami, FL (hybrid 2 days a week on site)
Duration: 6 month Contract with potential extension!
Rate Range: $60-70/hr
Position Overview:
The Purchasing System Consultant plays a technical key role in our efforts to provide decision support in selecting, optimizing, prioritizing, and executing the purchasing projects, managing the deployment of services, and evaluating/monitoring operational and financial benefits as they relate to the clients Purchasing organization. This position takes charge of specialized purchasing projects, working closely with Freight Forwarders and Receiving department to enhance Integrations between the systems. It involves supporting strategic and tactical initiatives, collaborating closely with Purchasing and the Financial Analytics team to formulate key strategic initiatives based on thorough analysis and comprehensive review of existing processes. Additionally, the role entails ensuring the successful delivery of projects in terms of functionality, quality, system performance, Quality Assurance, and technical documentation. Working in tandem with Operations and various teams, including Purchasing, Finance, Hotel Operations, Marine Operations, Technical Operations among others, this role ensures alignment with corporate objectives and process standardization. The position also involves overseeing other resources involved in projects as necessary and actively seeking opportunities to collaborate with business units on significant strategic initiatives. This technical expert collaborates with GFIT, IT, Decision Support, business users, and other departments as required to facilitate the development and implementation of new business practices, with a primary focus on process enhancement, business process re-engineering, and managing vendor relationships.
Day to Day:
This person will be acting as more of a project manager or project coordinator working on roadmaps for supply chain automation, figuring out processes and providing opportunities for enhancements, etc.
Meet with the team, provide value based off their experience, providing guidance, mini projects going into the detail with the business. Looking for an SME in supply chain from purchasing, receiving, inventory, invoicing (cruise industry exp even better).
Must Haves:

• Experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator
• Supply Chain experience - purchasing, forecasting, inventory, receiving, everything Supply Chain (SME)
• Oracles EBS - iProc, OBN, ECC, PunchOut, Oracle inventory, etc
