Business Process Technology Consultant consults with client companies in order to evaluate and recommend technology solutions that will facilitate the accomplishment of the client's business goals. Analyzes the client's business strategy, operations, and current technology architecture in order to develop options for new technologies that will optimize the company's functions and business processes. Being a Business Process Technology Consultant provides consultation regarding solutions planning, impact analysis, risk assessment, and budgeting. May provide financial analysis to determine ROI/ROA of proposed solutions. Additionally, Business Process Technology Consultant requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Business Process Technology Consultant occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Description:
As a Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) Solutions Consultant, the developer is responsible for application development and database support. This position will provide technical support of database environments including software installation, database creation, upgrades, patches, problem diagnosis, performance monitoring, maintenance, process automation, evaluation, and tuning recommendations. They will also contribute to application development in all aspects of database integration including the deployment of requested database code and configuration changes, as well as reviewing SQL statements and guiding developers on best practices around how to interact with the database. This role involves working with various cross-functional teams to develop improving process performance, reliability, and safety.
The Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) Solutions Consultant is responsible for working with clients and vendors to implement project tasks with the established scope of work in alignment with project goals and objectives under the supervision of project leads or managers. This role requires industrial specific technical knowledge and programming best practices.

Responsibilities:
Provide project-related engineering services including MES development, web development, process historian configuration, network configuration, SQL configuration and general IT support.
Provide technical sales support for Company sales team members, including client visits, job walk-downs, and proposal development/review.
Function as frontline communication and point-of-contact for clients.
Perform duties as a technical lead which includes working with and providing guidance for younger, less experienced engineers as needed to satisfy project requirements.
Travel up to 25% as required to support project and client objectives.
Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have 5 years of hands-on experience with the Ignition platform and extensive database experience.
5 years of experience with SQL Server technologies (SQL Server clustering, LogShipping, SSRS, etc.)
Working understanding of programming languages (Python, JavaScript…)
Preferred knowledge of Azure configuration and deployments
Must have project management and leadership experience.
