An investment advisor in Connecticut is actively seeking a driven and experienced professional to join their staff as their new Business Strategy Analyst. In this role, the Business Strategy Analyst will assist in strategic initiatives, such as assessing market demand and profiling
Responsibilities
The Business Strategy Analyst will:- Assist the IR/BD team in positioning and differentiating the firm’s credit products
- Gather and synthesize market intelligence from a variety of public and private sources
- Research competitor strategies, performance, and product types, and monitor fundraising trends
- Maintain peer groups for the firm's credit strategies and various funds
- Systematically track consultant fund recommendations and strategy outlooks
- Help build and maintain multiple internal research databases using Excel or other tools
- Support IR/BD on various ad hoc projects or product development initiatives across all of the Firm’s business lines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-3 years of experience
- Familiarity with private credit strategies
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Entrepreneurial mindset and creative problem-solver
- Highly organized and process-oriented
- Familiarity with data analytics and performance analysis in private markets
- Strong project management skills and impeccable attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and team player
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
