    Title: Business Analyst
    Purpose: The Business Analyst is responsible for understanding business issues and problems that must be addressed and works closely with business users to analyze and validate project requirements and costs. The Business Analyst will evaluate the current state of business processes, develop recommendations to increase the efficiencies of the processes, and oversee the implementation of the proposed solutions.
    Work Relationship and Scope: This position reports directly to the Business Technology Manager. The Department of Business Technology reports to the CFO.
    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Identify and prioritize the company’s functional and technical needs and requirements.
    • Create financial models to support business decisions.
    • Create process maps and documents, identifying ways to increase efficiency in business processes.
    • Recommend solutions and receive agreement from the business process owner on the proposed solution.
    • Clearly communicate requirements to the technical staff and assist with validating that the project completed matches the requirements identified.
    • Work as a liaison between the business and technical resources for questions or issues that are identified during the project.
    • Other duties, as assigned.
    Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Bachelor’s degree focusing on business, computer science, information systems, or other relevant areas.
    • Three or more years of experience working as a business analyst or in a similar role.
    • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is required.
    • Experience with ERP systems.
    • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
    • Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot issues in coordination with business users.
    • Exhibit good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to solve problems by using a logical, systematic, and sequential approach.
    Qualifications (Preferred):
    • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics GP
    • Project management experience
    • Business process management experience
    • Experience using SQL, Python, PowerBI, and Excel for analytical purposes.
    Working Conditions:
    • Typical office environment with time spent in a manufacturing facility.
    • Occasional lifting no greater than 20 lbs.
    • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
    • This position is located on-site in St. Augustine, Florida. A hybrid work schedule may be available after a period of training.
