A Brief Overview

The HRIS Analyst is responsible for the support and maintenance of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) in addition to other systems supported by the HRIS team. The HRIS Analyst serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities; and supports HRIS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

What you will do

• Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches. Collaborated with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintain HRIS system tables. Document process and results.
• Provide support for HRIS including, but not limited to, researching, and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
• Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation. Serve as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g. payroll). Use project management skills in managing projects. May provide overall project management for a given HR initiative.
• Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.
• Establishes and maintains security and integrity controls by running queries and analyzing data.
• Assists with the design of HRIS projects from initial goals to final implementation.
• Assists with the developing of user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Train clients on new processes/functionality. Train new system users. Ensure all information is communicated to impacted user groups timely.
• Maintain awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on product and service development, delivery, and support, and applying key technologies. Examine trends in information systems training, materials, and techniques. Through classes, reading CBTs or other mechanisms, continuously increase both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge. Participate in user group meetings/conferences.
• Assists as subject matter expert on HRIS projects and implementation for all company segments and locations.
• Maintain discretion in matters of confidentiality.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field Required
• or equivalent work experience. Required
• Minimum of two years' experience in HR systems administration and/or client support. Required
• Experience with UKG Pro Preferred
• Experience with Cognos report writer Required
• Experience with developing reports and extracting data from HRIS systems. Required
• Strong functional HR knowledge base required with firm understanding of HR processes and data, especially as related to HR systems.
• Advanced skills in Excel required.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required. Great team player.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and use a variety of software applications such as HRIS and payroll systems, Microsoft Office.
• Maintain knowledge of lawful employment, payroll laws and benefits record-keeping requirements helpful.
• Must be able to work independently or in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities and demands.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• PHR/SPHR Certification Preferred

Compensation

We are committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation. The hiring range for this position is generally between $70,000.00 - $75,000.00, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. Final salaries will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience. In addition to these factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the general Hiring Range for the role. Hiring at the top of the range is reserved for exceptionally qualified candidates. We consider internal and external factors as a part of every final offer.
