After the two days of onsite required onboarding and training, the selected candidate will be able to work remotely.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of a Business Analyst for our client’s Medicaid Claims Administration and Financial Solution (MCAFS) implementation in Frankfort, Kentucky. Following the initial 2-day on-site onboarding, this will be a work-from-home, 100% remote position.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

• Facilitate or participate in requirements gathering/JAD sessions; working closely with Project Manager(s), SME's, Vendor and Business Users.
• Document, Disseminate, and Track Minutes and Action Items from Meetings and Sessions.
• Support application/project go-live.
• Demonstrate a high level of working knowledge with information systems methodologies and processes (i.e., Project Life Cycle, System Development Life Cycle and Change Management process).
• Define, gather, and document detailed requirements that define the project and use cases.
• Create high-level models and user prototype interfaces to identify and validate business processes and resolutions when appropriate.
• Conducting and directing end-user testing responsibilities.
• Clearly communicate with stakeholders on multiple aspects of the implementation.
• Initiate and manage deliverable document review and approval workflows.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of recent, relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Product Suites (Word, Excel, and Visio).
• 5 years working in a role as a Business Analyst; with experience defining business problems, gathering, and documenting requirements; determining business solutions and verifying that solutions meet requirements.
• Ability to handle workloads with general direction.
• Relationship management and facilitation skills.
• Possess strong communication skills adapted for a virtual environment.
• Must be adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and in conjunction with team members.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Working knowledge of Kentucky Healthcare Programs (i.e., Medicaid).
• An understanding of healthcare enterprise systems (including, but not limited to claims, finance, members, providers), with the ability to understand and communicate from a business and technical perspective.
• 5 years working in a Business Analyst position for a large-scale IT system.
• Certified Business Analysis Professional Certification (CBAP).
