Business Systems Analysis Manager manages a team of analysts responsible for the analysis of new business system development and existing system improvement. The Business Systems Analyst will research, evaluate, and document business processes, procedures, systems, and user requirements. In this position you will use process documentation to configure automated case management system, as well as identify opportunities to address problems or enhancements associated with court operational processes/systems to take advantage of new automated capabilities. This work includes instructing, coordinating, and monitoring work involving operational processes across the courts.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Extensive experience with documentation writing, curriculum design and evaluation, and/or educational delivery. Considerable knowledge with standard business process reengineering methods, procedures and methods required to develop and maintain databases, and/or extensive experience with information technology including manipulation of databases and complex spreadsheets for the production of reports.
Preference will be given to candidates with subject matter knowledge of Vermont Court procedures, and/or with working knowledge of Tyler Technologies court software systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in education, judicial administration, business administration, instructional technology or informational technology.
Note: Additional work experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree on six months for semester basis.
Experience: Four years at a functional and/or operational level in court case management.
Note: Additional work experience and/or specialized training in the areas of preferred qualifications may be substituted for the court case management experience. This substitution must be expressly requested in the applicant’s cover letter with sufficient detail and specificity to support this request.
This is a full-time, permanent opening and the position can be based in Montpelier or another Vermont Judiciary work location. The successful candidate may request to work remotely. Starting salary is $25.43 per hour. The Business Systems Analyst is a non-exempt Judicial Branch position equivalent to pay grade 23. The State of Vermont’s total compensation package features an outstanding set of employee benefits that are worth about 30% of your total compensation.
