    Position Summary

    The Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between the business needs and the technological solutions within our organization. Their primary responsibility is to analyze and understand our business processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose effective solutions to enhance efficiency and achieve organizational goals.  Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning and Business Systems, this role requires a willingness to learn the business, develop and apply their business acumen to support our aggressive organic and inorganic business growth strategy as a trusted business partner.  The Business Systems Analyst is a highly visible role within the organization, working side by side with the senior leadership to drive improvements and achieve our goals.  

    Job Duties & Responsibilities

        Systems point person for new ERP/CRM configuration and implementation, serving as the subject matter expert for business systems.

        Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand their current and future system requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

        Develop detailed specifications for system changes or new solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to industry best practices, meet business needs and stakeholder requirements.

        Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of business systems.

        Develop, analyze, and maintain new or current system processes and workflows. 

        Ensure the stability and integrity of all systems and system data.

        Diagnose and resolve system issues including the implementation of system patches, updates, and maintenance. 

        Collect user feedback regarding system performance and work with team to resolve issues. 

        Lead system integration projects as part of an aggressive M&A strategy.

        Foster relationships with vendors in areas such as bug fixes, new features, and proper use of products.

        Develop and provide training, demonstrations, and regular communication to end-users.

        Maintain records of system integrations, changes, and incidents

        Lead portions of large tasks or projects; build and maintain project management skills.

        Maintain awareness of accessibility, compliance, and security polices and guidelines.

        Prior experience working with Acumatica preferred.

        Prior experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment

    Minimum Qualifications

        Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or relevant field.

        Minimum 3 years as a business system analyst.

        Experience with system administration, integration, and implementation.

        Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.


    Compensation/Other Considerations

        $95,000 - $115,000 Compensation.

        Health, 401k and other benefits.

        Limited travel.

        Flexibility in being able to work remotely as needed.
