Drafts strategic plans and optimization initiatives that support growth and profitability goals for bank operations and branch networks. Being a Business Systems Manager (Banking) analyzes emerging industry trends, economic conditions, new technologies, consumer behavior, merger and acquisition opportunities, and competitive threats. Performs data-driven monitoring and analysis of business performance used to recommend technological enhancements, process improvement measures, and new products.     The Sr. Relationship Manager, Business Banking is responsible for self-sourcing new business, growing a portfolio of commercial banking customers, and expanding customer relationships by promoting products and services, as appropriate, to identify and fulfill customer needs. This position provides exceptional service to build and strengthen customer relationships while working with clients that are $500K – $30M in revenue including C&I, CRE, and SBA. Responsible for new business development through referral sources and cold calling efforts.

    What You’ll Do

    • Develop and maintain a portfolio by assessing and meeting client’s business and personal needs.

    • Increase the Bank’s profitability by cultivating new commercial business relationships.

    • Negotiate proper loan structure and effectively cross sell products.

    • Maintain properly documented files and manage renewals and collection efforts on past dues and defaulted loans.

    • Sustain comprehensive understanding of current commercial products offered in the market and keeps informed of all relevant industry trends and practices.

    • Build and maintain a professional network of COI’s and referral sources.

    • Maintain a stable network of prospective customers with a consistent approach to calling.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or accounting (preferred)

    • Solid understanding of general credit and risk principles, mitigates, and banking policies/procedures; formal bank credit training is preferred

    • 5 - 7 years’ commercial lending experience

    • Exceptional oral and written communications skills

    • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability establishing client relationships and working within a team environment

    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to proactively manage and prioritize workflow
