The primarily role of the Audio-Visual Business Development Manager is to increase company revenue related to A/V projects with a primary focus on the following: Lead sourcing, opportunity qualification, product selection, proposal development, win strategy, and account management. You will be the primary customer-facing representative for all A/V opportunities whether sold through bid channels or directly to the end-user. You will also be JSC’s primary resource for influencing and interfacing with the A&E and consulting community.
As an Audio-Visual Business Development Manager, you will source, call on, and sell JSC System Solutions to new prospects and existing clients across Coastal GA, South Carolina and North Carolina.
Responsibilities will include:
· Providing direction for A/V opportunities across the northern JSC territories; including design, product selection, and sales strategy.
· Collaborating with Branch Teams to identify A/V prospects not currently known to JSC Systems.
· Qualifying all inbound A/V sales opportunities to ensure competitive advantage.
· Creating and maintaining a continual “lead list” of potential A/V clients to pursue.
· Analyzing potential clients & marketplace, qualifying leads, and prospecting for new sources of business.
· Developing mutually beneficial, long-term customer relationships to ensure JSC is aligned as the preferred A/V partner.
· Managing the sales process with each opportunity including conducting meetings to analyze need, demonstrate product benefits, and communicate our competitive advantages to prospects.
· Presenting proposals to decision makers and other stakeholders; gaining buy-in, overcoming objections
· Creating a technical applications scope of work by collaborating with company design teams.
· Coordinating and communicating with customer and company teams during planning, installation, service, and throughout the customer life-cycle.
· Updating the CRM including sales activity, opportunity management, forecasting, and tasks.

Experience:
· Minimum three years of sales experience in Audio Visual Solutions.
· Knowledge of Crestron, Extron, and Pro Sound systems.
· Experience in direct selling and business development, preferably in the Audio-Visual industry.
· Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Experience using CRM Tools, such as: SalesForce, Hubspot or Zoho
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
