Business Unit Controller jobs in Cedar Rapids, IA

Our client is seeking a full-time on-site Controller to join their team onsite at their shop located in Anamosa, IA.

The Controller will oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.  The ideal candidate will be comfortable with technology and assist in the continuous improvement and implementation of the inventory and barcoding. 

The Controller will be responsible for managing the accounting team and ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and timely.

 Qualifications

• CPA or CMA certification preferred, but no required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including experience as a Controller or similar position
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial regulations
• Experience managing accounting teams and leading financial operations
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with accounting software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
