Job Purpose:
To support our growing business needs in North-America, TCR is looking for a skilled Business Controller to manage new projects and equipment deliveries, from contract signing to customer delivery. This is a challenging role which requires hands-on entrepreneurship, drive for operational excellence and focus on long-term customer relationship & organization building.
Key areas of results, responsibilities and accountabilities:
Provide support to the Commercial Director and BD team in drafting change orders, and ensuring internal reviews are conducted by the Finance Director and General Manager before contract execution.
Responsible for uploading contracts in the designated contract management system, as well as creation of contract summaries. The go-to-person for any contract related questions, such as inclusions/exclusions, payment terms, billing terms, price adjustments, etc.
Monitor billing and collection of transport cost. It also includes ensuring all invoicing is sent to customers on time, follow up of payments with customers on contract invoices, and management of any billing queries.
Provide annual contracted revenue inputs to the budget cycle, and subsequent quarterly forecasts, in cooperation with the Finance Director.
Act as a key go-to person with regards to contract questions.
Act as a gatekeeper in the contract creation process, ensuring all required steps are followed by the responsible departments.
Manage the implementation of signed contracts from the business development team into SAP contract set-up.
Manage the delivery of new assets with the procurement team while working with operations on any updates.
Provide basic reporting to customers or internal stakeholders.
Competencies (Knowledge, skills and abilities) required for successful performance
3-5 years of experience in an analytical role.
Some SAP knowledge or background.
Rigorous and highly structed in work.
Great communication skills and has the ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders.
Must be proficient in Excel.
Strong operational coordination skills.
Must have a solution driven mindset and drive for success.
Nice to have competencies:
Working knowledge of the aviation and GSE industry.
