- WHAT DOES A BUSINESS & INVESTMENT CONTROLLER DO? Under the responsibility of the Investment and Funding Compliance Manager, your mission is to: - Be the process owner for managing methods, tools, policies and standards of the investment process of LI and IM business lines - Track and report investment decisions and Capex expenditures following affiliate and group procedures for the LI and IM business lines - Perform variance analysis, analyze results, suggest corrective actions on energy cost, fixed cost and D&A for the LI business line - Manage the consistent reporting of investment control and business control How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Your main responsibilities are: Tracking and reporting of investment decisions and Capex expenditures, ensuring timely financial commissioning of assets Challenging the used tools and trying different views, further digitization of process (Power BI) Target/Rolling Forecast process, strategic objectives & Investments. Interfacing with Cost and Profit center responsible communicate with the organization on performance (P&L, Dashboards, ..) Prepare and reconcile numbers relating to Energy cost, Fixed Cost, D&A and exceptional bookings in the P&L IRIS reporting for ALBI-LI Scope and direct report: part of the Business Control team and reports to Investment and Funding Compliance Manager Are you a MATCH? WHAT ARE THE EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS? You can become a Business Controller with a Bachelors or Masters in Finance, Business or Engineering, and 1-2 years proven experience, preferably in an industrial environment. Know How in ERP & BI system Strong knowledge in data base management & Business Control Languages Fluent in English, knowledge of either French or Dutch is beneficial Rigorous, cooperative and efficient Stress resistant to cope with deadlines Good communication with operations and corporate Self starter & autonomous WHAT SKILLS WILL I DEVELOP IN THIS JOB?
