Anticipated Opening: Business Manager/Human Resource Manager
St. George School is a community-centered PreK-8 public school located in picturesque Mid-Coast Maine. We are
committed to academic excellence, community engagement, Expeditionary Learning, and teachers working in teams
to innovate, educate, and develop as professionals.
We are seeking a full time Business Manager/Human Resource Manager to join our school community as of
July 1, 2024.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or accounting; a Master’s degree in business
- Experience in an educational institution or a minimum of three years equivalent commercial experience
- Knowledge of school business management and accounting procedures.
- Effective skills in problem analysis, decision-making, communication and judgment.
- Effective organizational ability.
- Ability to apply technology to business practices and procedures. Strong computer background required.
- Self-motivated and disciplined.
- Ability to develop and implement innovative ideas.
- Strong sense of personal professional ethics.
- Experience in food service, transportation, maintenance and cleaning of facilities is desirable.
- Physically able to perform the duties as described.
- Valid DOE fingerprinting certification. (Maine Criminal History Records Check)
