HQ Aero is currently recruiting for PURCHASING BUYERS in BRIDGEPORT, WV
Responsibilities:
As a Purchasing Buyer, you will be required to:- Develop an effective and accurate system for monitoring purchase orders
- Deliver a weekly purchase order report to supervisors that indicates the invoice number for all closed orders
- Work within the management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned orders and report any back ordered or missing products.
- Assist the Department's Manager with maintaining inventory levels and materials on a regular basis.
- Effectively communicating with the management team to ensure all orders are accurate
- Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions.
Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:- 3 years' experience in aviation or material/parts environment or other demonstrated equivalent experience.
- Candidate must be dependable and be able to follow instructions.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
Job Type:- Full-time, Contract
- Shift Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Essential Job Functions- Must have good customer service and Interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work as a part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Must be a self-starter, able to work with little to no guidance. Must be a highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to multi-task.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in accordance with Title 14 CFR Part 65.
- Must be computer proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, Position requires frequent walking, standing and/or climbing.
- Work Environment : FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
