Buyer
An international company with a small local presence needs a Buyer for their growing team. If you have at least 3 years of experience – preferably in manufacturing – then consider this full-time, direct-hire role at a desirable employer that treats their employees well!
Responsibilities of the Buyer

• Purchase traded goods and raw materials
• Set up traded items in ERP system and monitor purchasing requisitions daily
• Continuously monitor and analyze production requirements to minimize on-hand inventories and ensure no shortages in direct material
• Issue purchase orders and monitor/expedite for on-time delivery
• Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers
• Research potential new suppliers and support supplier onboarding and management process
• Develop and maintain relationships with local vendors
• Participate in month-end inventory counts
• Manage inbound freight
• Maintain records
• Support and participate in local, regional, and corporate sourcing initiatives; travel up to 10%

Qualifications of the Buyer

• 3 years of buying and/or sourcing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Personable, professional demeanor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
