Being a Cabinetmaker and Bench Carpenter is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Cabinetmaker and Bench Carpenter performs a variety of tasks. Position Overview:We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Restoration Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, a passion for restoration work, and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.Key Responsibilities:- Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks related to restoration projects, including framing, drywall installation, finish carpentry, etc.
- Assess and repair structural damage caused by disasters such as fire or water damage.
- Work with various materials, tools, and equipment to complete restoration projects efficiently and to industry standards.
- Follow blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate and precise carpentry work.
- Remove and replace damaged building materials, including walls, ceilings, flooring, and trim.
- Assist in the restoration of historical or architecturally significant properties when required.
- Collaborate with project managers, restoration teams, and subcontractors to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Uphold safety standards and practices on job sites to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
Qualifications:- Proficient in trim install, drywall hanging, drywall finishing, and painting.
- Basic knowledge of electricity and plumbing is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Superior oral communication skills.
