CAD Drafter jobs in Appleton, WI

We are a small but growing family owned business that specializes in Custom Architectural Precast Stone. Along with our owner (50 years business experience) and 10 employees we all work together to produce quality products. Construction experience is beneficial! Currently running on AUTO CAD 2023, we will train candidates in our area of manufacturing but AUTO CAD Expertise is preferred! This position has potential and demand to be promoted to LEAD DRAFTER for our company.

-Experience in Estimating: Must be very proficient in reading Architectural Plans, Complete Cast Stone / Precast Take Offs (will train), add Lineal Footage and Calculate Weights. Rockridge utilizes take-off software to help with efficiency and simplifying the task.

-Clerical Experience in, but not limited to: EXCEL, data entry, shipping, receiving, filing and scanning.

-Customer Service and Communication: Sales, Talking with Contractors and Architects, reviewing past quotes & bids.

-Candidate MUST have some Capabilities / Experience / Schooling in Drafting. This candidate will be responsible for creating Shop Drawings; Shop Tickets to Contractors for approval and use in manufacturing cast stone units based off Architectural Plans & Drawings.

-Candidate must be organized, willing to take on additional tasks in the office, a person who believes in always double-checking numbers and calculations. Excellent communication skills within the office as well as with our customers. The ability to work and maintain deadlines. Candidate must be willing to go above and beyond to help the company; we help those who help us grow!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
