CAD Drafter jobs in Fort Myers, FL

Job Summary: Assists engineering staff in application of principals, methods, and techniques of civil engineering technology.

Essential Duties:

• Develop plan drawings using later version AutoCAD software under the direction of professional staff.
• Make revisions and obtain approval from project manager(s).
• Maintain a database of drawings.
• Prepare supporting documentation.
• Distribute drawings to internal project managers.
• Requires effective communication with fellow team members and clients.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree from an accredited vocation/technical school in AutoCAD desired or equivalent job experience.
• Deadline-oriented mindset and attention to detail.
• Must be able to sit or stand at a computer monitor for long periods of time and be able to distinguish shapes and colors.
• Excellent driving record and a valid Florida driver's license is required.
