Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafeteria Manager to oversee the operations of our cafeteria. As a Cafeteria Manager, you will be responsible for managing the food service and kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality meals are prepared and served efficiently. Your leadership skills and knowledge of food service management will contribute to the success of our cafeteria. Responsibilities: - Manage and supervise all aspects of the cafeteria, including food preparation, serving, and inventory control - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and storage - Develop menus that meet nutritional requirements and cater to diverse dietary needs - Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards - Train and supervise cafeteria staff, providing guidance and support as needed - Oversee catering services for special events or meetings - Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of food supplies - Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and expenses - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner Requirements: - Proven experience in food management or related field - Strong knowledge of food service operations, including kitchen management, food preparation, and dietary requirements - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team - Exceptional organizational and time management skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and vendors - Proficient in inventory control systems and computer applications related to food service management Preferred Skills: - Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is a plus We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
