Cafeteria Manager manages an on site company cafeteria. Oversees operations including ordering, inventory, meal planning, food preparation, and service. Being a Cafeteria Manager ensures operations are in compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations. Manages and trains cafeteria staff. Additionally, Cafeteria Manager may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Cafeteria Manager supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.     The floor manager assists the cafeteria manager with all aspects of the food services program at that school. Must be able to effectively interact with children, work as part of a team in completing job duties, provide training and provide direction to others, ability to operate a computer to process breakfast and lunch orders and have proper money handling skills. Experience in the area of food service management is preferred. Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs.

    Salary:

    Range is $14.22 - $24.59 per hour plus full benefits package

    Workday:

    Full Time/10 month (190 days) position, 7 hours per day, Monday through Friday
