Description
Position Summary:
• To perform in-house calibrations of equipment or monitoring devices affecting product quality in a timely manner.
• Report any Out of Tolerances (OOT) found during the calibration process following the internal procedures.
• Repair, troubleshoot or replace equipment, instruments or parts as needed to perform calibrations.
Assists with additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or required.
• Calibration of all critical instruments used in drug manufacturing facility per established calibration test methods in accordance with in-house calibration procedures within scheduled time frame. E.g., Temperature and humidity controllers and chart recorders, thermocouples, humidity sensors, pressure test gauges, pressure transducer, pH meters, check-weighers, ovens, furnaces, temperature and data loggers, thermometers, temperature chambers and load cells.
• Responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, calibration and maintenance of electronic instrumentation and controls.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Technical Degree in electronics or instrumentation (2yrs) and/or equivalent experience as calibration technician in the Pharmaceutical Industry or a regulated industry.
• ASQ CCT certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years calibration experience
• Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Experience with CMMS.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
