Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electrical Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and fabricating electrical components and systems, ensuring that all products meet high-quality standards. This role requires proficiency in various assembly techniques and a strong understanding of electrical wiring and components.
Electrical Assembler
Type of Role: Temp to Hire
Location: Kenosha WI
Pay Rate: $18.00 plus 4% shift differential
1ST SHIFT
- 1st Week - Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
- 2nd Week - Monday: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Tuesday - Friday: 5:00am - 3:30pm
- Manditory Overtime - Saturday: 5:00am - 11:00am
2ND SHIFT
- Train for 4 weeks on first shift before moving to 2nd Shift
- Monday - Thursday: 3:30pm - 2:00am
- Friday: 3:30pm - 12:00am
- Manditory Overtime - Saturday: 1:30pm - 7:30pm
Electrical Assembler
- Performs a wide variety of electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies per work instruction and/or drawings.
- Setup Switchgear parts like (Contactors, Circuit breakers, etc.)
- Point to point wiring per work instructions, diagram schematics, etc., Short/continuity test, Hipot test
- Read, interpret, understand and follow assembly drawings, diagrams, and schematics to determine component parts and assembly sequence.
- Test assembled parts to ensure functionality.
- Assist assemblers in performing assembly tasks.
- Inspect parameters on checklists.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Min 2 years' experience in the switchgear manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Ability to follow work instructions and procedures.
- Works Consistently under safety regulations
- Lift demand: Lift up to 60lb on an occasional basis
- Proficient in Google Suite, MS Office or equivalent
