Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture operates videotape machines, disk-based file servers, camera control units, studio cameras, video switchers, audio mixers and other equipment used in the broadcast of live and taped television programming. May be expected to maintain a variety of program/transmitter logs. Being a Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture may require an associate's degree or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Cross Bore Camera Truck Operator

    Please note: This is not a CCTV surveillance job.

    What You Will Do:

    Our crews are the true backbone of our company. As a Cross Bore Camera Truck Operator, you are responsible for closed caption television monitoring of robotic remote camera tractors or push cameras in sewer and storm lines. This includes overseeing the work of the field technicians, setting-up camera equipment to specific size of jobs, insertion and removal of cameras from various sewer and drain lines, assessing pipe conditions and recording in digitally formatted videos.

    • Are at least 21 years old
    • Have a valid driver's license with clean MVR record
    • Willing to undergo a background/MVR check, drug screen and DOT physical
    • Willing to travel up to 75% as needed (in/out of state)
    • Solid understanding of the CCTV camera truck operations to include lateral launch operations
    • Knowledge of robotic CCTV equipment and lateral launch systems
    • Have strong technical skills (i.e., use of computers, operating CCTV camera software and equipment, reading maps, locating manholes, taking digital recordings)
    • NASSCO certified (a plus!)
    • Are able and willing to perform other duties as needed, i.e., perform the duties of a Field Services Technician
    • Are comfortable working outside in all weather conditions around water/wastewater pipelines and chemicals, manholes, confined spaces, lifting up to 65 lbs as needed
    • Have strong interpersonal skills and like working as part of a team
    • Will abide by all safety procedures and policies, including wearing required PPE for your safety.
