Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture operates videotape machines, disk-based file servers, camera control units, studio cameras, video switchers, audio mixers and other equipment used in the broadcast of live and taped television programming. May be expected to maintain a variety of program/transmitter logs. Being a Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture may require an associate's degree or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Overview
Title: Service Coordinator
Reports to: Camera Service Manager
Key Relationships: Camera Service, Purchasing, L&D Teams
Location: Culver City
The Service Coordinator is a position that provides necessary administrative support to the Camera Service Department. This is a role that must always maintain a high level of prioritization, organization and communication at all times.
Role & Responsibilities
● Communicate with multiple departments regarding status and repair updates
● Communicate with clients and consignors regarding damages and maintenance matters
● Initiate, and track the process of obtaining RMAs and sending equipment to vendors for service and/or repair
● Initiate, maintain and update PO for service repairs
● Maintain accurate records and reports
● Facilitate Parts and supply orders
● Maintain inventory of parts and supplies
● Report to the Camera Service Manager
Qualifications:
● Exceptional customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful)
● Detail-oriented and highly organized
● Familiarity with Mac operating system
● Familiarity with Google Apps
● Industry experience preferred
● Technical knowledge of camera and/or accessory nomenclature a plus
● Ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy
Physical Requirements:
● Lifting up to 50 lbs. of cases and/or equipment
● Sitting and standing for long periods of time
● Potential overtime required
