Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture operates videotape machines, disk-based file servers, camera control units, studio cameras, video switchers, audio mixers and other equipment used in the broadcast of live and taped television programming. May be expected to maintain a variety of program/transmitter logs. Being a Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture may require an associate's degree or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Job Summary/Description:
The ideal candidate should be familiar with the operating functionality of various types of broadcast equipment. He/she will monitor multiple air channels, maintaining regulatory compliance, assuring quality control of on-air products, and documenting transmission events, as well as have the ability and composure to perform in an emergency on-air outage situation.
This position will be responsible for maintaining video and audio functions of Master Control and ensuring the integrity of the Broadcasting channels. This position is overnights.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Must be focused, diligent and detail-oriented
• Must be a quick learner and willing to adapt to new technologies, new tasks, and workflow procedures
• Maintains programming logs as required by station management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with changing requirements and priorities
• Able to recognize priority issues and elevate them to Supervisors, IT, and Engineering staff
• Capability to generate and fill out reports in order to track progress and provide specific details to Supervisors to troubleshoot any technical issues
• Complete Shift Reports with the level of detail to communicate to Management and team members any outstanding issues or follow-up needed
• Be able to work both independently and in a team environment
Other skill requirements:
• Computer savvy with a strong desire to learn
• Reliability, Responsibility, & Teachability are qualities we are looking for in this position
• Education and/or experience in broadcasting.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Strong PC/MS Office experience
• Experience with digital transmitters and other broadcast-related equipment a plus, but not required
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience in Morpheus or Crispin automation systems a plus
