    Position Overview:

    Under general supervision, drive and deploy Automated Speed Enforcement System (ASES) to scheduled deployment sites agreed upon in the contract. Set up, spot check and take down enforcement unit and supporting signage/equipment. Responsible for completing and ensuring the accuracy of court deployment forms with deployment data. 

    During periods of low production of work in the area, the incubment is expected to process events while still reporting to the same leader. This aspect of the role will include processing events and other clerical and data entry tasks. Candidate must be able to follow basic procedures and scripts. Responsibilities may include answering customer questions, processing payments, explaining available services, correcting errors, providing general program information.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Deploy assigned enforcement unit to assigned deployment sites; this may require local travel within the jurisdiction assigned or travel within the state for drivers assigned within AWZSE program.
    • Responsible for deployment at required location in most efficient manner possible to ensure maximum deployment is achieved in all assigned jurisdictions. Set up / take down enforcement system and supporting equipment. Monitor weather and lighting and make camera adjustments as necessary. Communicate with Network Operations Center/Verra Command Center (NOC/VCC), supervisor, team leads and other operators to ensure accurate information which impacts; or has a potential to impact operations is relayed as timely as possible.
    • Responsible for professional conduct and demeanor at all times while traveling to and from deployment sites and while deployed and/or while representing the company at any time.
    • Complete court deployment forms accurately with necessary and/or required deployment data. Log and report any equipment related issues in a timely manner to ensure they are resolved quickly.
    • Event Processing for both red-light and speed events using web-based tools.
    • Open, scan and process inbound customer correspondence.
    • Performing clerical and administrative duties.
    • Data entry and quality control.
    • Operates keyboard or other data entry device to enter data into computer. May manipulate existing data, edit current information, or proof-read new entries in database for accuracy.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Valid driver’s license with good driving record

    Inherent Physical Requirementsequirements

    • These physical demands are representative of what a MSCO driver may encounter in the field and are essential functions of the position. You will be involved primarily with field work on outside construction/service sites involving long-term standing and perhaps repetitive motions. You must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time and to perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
    • MSCO drivers must have the ability to use your hands to handle, finger or feel; reach, climb or balance; crouch, stoop, crawl, kneel and sit. Frequent ladder use is required with the ability to climb, descend, balance and work safely at heights on ladders and aerial lifts for extended periods at time.
    • MSCO drivers must have a great driving record and must have the ability to see including close, distance and peripheral vision, depth vision and ability to focus. Often this position may be required to drive hundreds of miles per day. The employee must not have any limitations that would reduce their ability to drive a vehicle safely for company business.
    • MSCO drivers physical strength and ability sufficient to perform moderate lifting, moving, and carrying. This is defined, for example, as regularly exerting force sufficient to lift up to 50 pounds, maneuver up to 50 pounds onto vehicle or vehicle roof, and carry up to 50 pounds from vehicle to required distance from deployment vehicle (approx. 100ft.). Capable of safely attaching, detaching, towing and deploying a trailer-mounted unit. Able to enter and exit vehicles multiple times within a shift.
    • MSCO drivers are required to wear protective equipment while in the field which can include reflective gear, work boots, hard hats and safety glasses. The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
