    Duties:

    Experience:
    To be considered for the position of Police Officer, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

    - Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and practices
    - Familiarity with criminal investigation procedures
    - Ability to handle animals safely and effectively
    - Proficiency in report writing and documentation
    - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
    - Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    - Physical fitness and the ability to meet the physical demands of the job

    Note: All candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive background check, including criminal history, driving record, and drug screening.

Officers are offered a take home vehicle if they live within the township of Kennett. Pay goes up to $18.50 after 6 month probationary period.
