Overview:
We are currently seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team as Police Officers. As a Police Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our community. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong interpersonal skills, physical fitness, and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.

Duties:
- Conduct patrols and surveillance to maintain public order and safety
- Enforce laws and regulations to protect lives and property
- Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed
- Conduct criminal investigations and gather evidence
- Arrest individuals suspected of criminal activity
- Provide traffic control and enforce traffic laws
- Assist with crowd control during public events or demonstrations
- Perform animal handling duties when necessary
- Administer CPR, first aid, and other emergency medical procedures
- Write detailed reports documenting incidents, investigations, and arrests

Experience:
To be considered for the position of Police Officer, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Previous law enforcement experience is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and practices
- Familiarity with criminal investigation procedures
- Ability to handle animals safely and effectively
- Proficiency in report writing and documentation
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Physical fitness and the ability to meet the physical demands of the job

Note: All candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive background check, including criminal history, driving record, and drug screening.

Officers are offered a take home vehicle if they live within the township of Kennett. Pay goes up to $18.50 after 6 month probationary period.
