May require POST(Peace Office Standards and Training) certification. Typically reports to Police Supervisor. The Campus Police Officer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining public safety, enforcing laws, and protecting the community.     Duties:
    - Patrol assigned areas to deter crime and ensure public safety
    - Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed
    - Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and make arrests when necessary
    - Enforce traffic laws and issue citations for violations
    - Maintain order and security at public events or gatherings
    - Provide support and assistance to other law enforcement agencies as required
    - Prepare detailed reports of incidents, investigations, and arrests
    - Conduct interviews and interrogations to gather information

    Requirements:
    - High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional education)
    - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
    - Completion of a certified police academy training program preferred, but not required.
    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    - Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions
    - Excellent problem-solving and conflict management abilities
    - Basic knowledge of loss prevention techniques
    - Familiarity with surveillance methods and equipment
    - Leadership skills to effectively supervise and guide others
    - CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
    - Ability to work in a militarized environment if required

    Preferred Skills:
    - Experience in law enforcement or related field
    - Proficiency in report writing and documentation

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $35,360.00 - $41,600.00 per year
