Description
Performs supervisory and administrative duties as well as processing crime scenes for the police department. Duties include but are not limited to supervising and training assigned personnel; reviewing evidence collected for quality and completeness; participating in identification and investigation work; testifying in court; compiling reports; and maintaining and updating records for proper documentation.

Work Environment
Work is performed either in an office environment or in a variety of field and office settings and may require exposure to dangerous and life-threatening situations; willing to work any hour of the day or night (shift work), overtime, weekends on call and holidays; work at any location in the city and travel in specific assignments.
