Junior Summer Camp Counselor 2024
Ever thought about being a Camp Counselor? Want to spend your summer in the sun? Working under the supervision of the Childcare Director, this full-time position offers a great experience for those looking to work with children ages 4 and up in a fun and high energy environment. Note that this position is primarily outside in a variety of weather conditions, so you need to consider that prior to applying. There are opportunities for year-round employment with our other programs.
The candidate must be a high school student who is at least 16 years old at the start of their employment. Previous childcare experience is a plus. Qualities and expectations of a junior counselor are:
The 2024 Summer Camp season begins on June 10th and runs through August 23rd, but we are looking to interview and hire now.
You must be available to work at least eight out of eleven camp weeks and be available for onboarding and training the week of June 3rd. Some onboarding may be done prior based on employee availability.
