Campus Security Director directs and implements security and safety policies and procedures on campus. Manages the work activities of campus police and patrol units. Being a Campus Security Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a senior institutional officer. The Campus Security Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Campus Security Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Milford Wellness Village, in Milford Delaware, is searching for part-time Security Officer to work our overnight shift EACH Week on Monday evening and Tuesday evening. 12a-8a. You will also be able to cover some PRN hours if needed.
Responsibilities :
Ensuring a secure environment for employees, residents and visitors on campus
Managing the onsite activities of those who are on campus
Responding to the emergency call system
Addressing and reporting safety issues
Assisting with inclement weather safety processes
Performing other duties as assigned
This position does require long periods of walking, standing, or sitting. In addition, the patrolling consists of both inside and outside patrolling of the entire property campus.
