Cancer Treatment Center Director (Hosp. Op.) directs and oversees all activities of the hospital's cancer center. Responsible for developing new programs, outreach activities, and research opportunities. Being a Cancer Treatment Center Director (Hosp. Op.) implements and maintains hospital practices, procedures and objectives. Serves as liaison with all professional, administrative and support staff. Additionally, Cancer Treatment Center Director (Hosp. Op.) creates reports on operation's activities for hospital administration to review. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a top management. The Cancer Treatment Center Director (Hosp. Op.) typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Cancer Treatment Center Director (Hosp. Insurance Prior-Authorization and Call Center

    We are a premier dermatology, cosmetic and vein practice offering medical, surgical and cosmetic services. Our office is located in a very accessible location in North Venice, FL, off of I-75 and near Sarasota, which is one of the most beautiful and most desired places in the country with incredible entertainment, dining, art, and schools.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Insurance verification.
    • Obtaining insurance prior-authorization for various medical procedures.
    • Answering new and existing patient calls to schedule them for appointments and answer any of their questions.
    • Must be able to manage multiple phone lines.
    • Receptionist roles and tasks.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be engaging, friendly, and warm in person and over the phone.
    • Must be patient, caring and efficient at the same time.
    • Provide the highest quality support to patients.
    • Resolve patients' issues efficiently and courteously.
    • Should be able to consistently maintain a positive demeanor and keep a smile on their face day in and day out.
    • Must have strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Both Full-time and part-time is available (minimum 3.5 days a week is required).
    • Typical hours are 8am-5pm but more flexibility exists for the part-time position.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 1 year experience as a medical insurance specialist with experience in obtaining prior-auth and answering patient calls are REQUIRED.
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service is preferred.
    • Experience as a medical or dental receptionists is highly preferred.

    Education and License:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
