Cancer Treatment Center Director (Hosp. Op.) jobs in Vincennes, IN

Cancer Treatment Center Director (Hosp. Op.) directs and oversees all activities of the hospital's cancer center. Responsible for developing new programs, outreach activities, and research opportunities. Being a Cancer Treatment Center Director (Hosp. Op.) implements and maintains hospital practices, procedures and objectives. Serves as liaison with all professional, administrative and support staff. Additionally, Cancer Treatment Center Director (Hosp. Op.) creates reports on operation's activities for hospital administration to review. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a top management. The Cancer Treatment Center Director (Hosp. Op.) typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Cancer Treatment Center Director (Hosp. Op.) typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     This position is asked to perform a wide variety of tasks. These tasks may include hauling agricultural products to other branches and/or customer locations, general maintenance of equipment and the facility, operate forklifts and/or skid loader, work with anhydrous ammonia and provide support as directed by the branch manager.


    Responsibilities

    • Safely operate a straight truck with a manual two-speed transmission
    • Deliver anhydrous ammonia
    • Haul crop protection products and seed
    • Assist in the maintenance of trucks and equipment
    • Maintenance of the office area, shop and grounds
    • All other general duties as needed

    Requirements

    Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

    • Agriculture and / or farming experience
    • Ability to read and write
    • Knowledge of basic mechanics
    • Ability to operate a vehicle with a manual transmission
    • Ability to operate a forklift and skid loader
    • Ability to follow established processes
    • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks

    Education

    • Valid Driver’s license, Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement preferred

    Physical Requirements

    • Able to sit, bend and reach overhead as part of daily activities
    • Able to lift 60 lbs
    • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
