Wealth Planning Associate | (Hybrid, in office at least 2 days a week- primarily Tuesdays & Wednesdays)

Estate and Tax Planning Pillar Overview:

The Estate and Tax Planning (ETP) Pillar is responsible for delivering innovative solutions to help the Dalio family achieve their financial, philanthropic, and personal goals. ETP is a cross-disciplinary pillar whose initiatives frequently involve partnership with internal Trust, Investment, Finance, Legal, and other pillars as well as with external counsel and advisors.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Wealth Planning Associate to support the ETP pillar across a broad array of pillar projects from thought partnership through implementation, and execution. The core responsibilities in this function will be to understand and summarize the advice provided from internal and external experts, ensure all issues are tracked and sufficiently addressed, prepare quantitative support and to communicate the results with core stakeholders of the project, which may include a combination of DFO senior leaders, trustees, or the Dalio family.

Day-to-day responsibilities would include a combination of the following:

• Build customized and sophisticated numerical analyses to support ETP decision making (typically via Excel)
• Operate various ETP processes and financial models for recurring decisions, including synthesizing complex financial data sets
• Managing follow-ups across several concurrent ETP projects, often with quick turnaround times
• Drafting presentations for senior stakeholders on ETP projects and research
• Meeting with external advisors and DFO team members to gather relevant information needed for ETP analysis

Qualifications:

• • At least 2 years of experience working in the private wealth management practice (For example: financial advisory, accounting and/or tax services for private clients, asset management)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (e.g. data tables and data analysis formulas. Experience with VBA a plus)
  • Ability to synthesize well across projects and understand how different strategies connect
  • Experience presenting to leadership and/or clients
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and collaborative environment
  • Bachelors Degree in related field with strong academic achievement record

Compensation:

Compensation for the role includes a competitive salary in the range from $90,000 to $160,000 (inclusive of a merit-based bonus, dependent on years of experience, level of education obtained, as well as applicable skillset) and an excellent benefits package, including a comprehensive employer paid medical plan and generous employer match for 401k.
