    The Project Manager Large Loss’ primary responsibility is to provide operational excellence and expertise on their assigned projects, generally on large mitigation projects greater than $500K in value, from inception through project closeout; and maintain excellent client relationships to ensure BlueTeam is always the clients’ first choice for restoration services. The PM LL will have overall operational and management responsibility onsite in completing the BT process. The PM LL is responsible for communicating with the project team and the client daily to create and deliver exceptional customer service.  The PM LL will also be directly responsible for directing and communicating the activities of all the assigned project team members.



    What you’ll do…
    Project Specific

    • Demonstrate a sense of urgency in all that you do
    • Conduct thorough site assessments to determine the extent of damages, scope of work required, and resources needed to complete each project
    • Work closely with Project Directors to assist in the creation of the ROM and management of the overall budget
    • Create and maintain critical path project schedules based on the needs of the project and the needs of the client
    • Immediately notify management of potential scope changes that need to be documented via change order
    • Ensure that all project activities are being performed in a safe and professional manner
    • Verify and approve all work progress and final completion for assigned teams
    • Manage and mentor a team of approx. 2 - 6 other superintendents or other assigned project personnel
    • Organize, manage, and maintain (with the assistance of the team) labor crews upwards of 100 on assigned projects
    • Assess the need, source, onboard, and manage all third-party vendors such as MEP subcontractors, equipment rental vendors, specialty vendors, etc.
    • Manage and communicate the travel progress of the project team and ETA with management and customer representatives
    • Prepare daily production assignment(s) for assigned teams
    • Source and obtain necessary supplies, tools, equipment, and PPE to perform project tasks
    • Lead and prepare the team for daily morning lineups and evening wrap-ups
    • Lead the team in preparing paperwork/documentation for the arrival of labor crews
    • Ensure continuous and appropriate supervision of labor crews
    • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders throughout the project
    • Ensure strict adherence to company policies and industry standards
    • Train and mentor team members and labor crews in the areas of production, standards, and safety
    • Maintain and exceed safety and quality standards, including the use of PPE
    • Ensure that all work is documented timely in the BlueTeam App through daily field reports, equipment readings, moisture mapping, tick sheets, photographs, and detailed job journal notes
    • Prepare and maintain project-specific requirements as needed, including daily demo and progress maps, moisture maps, etc., outside of the BT App, but also saved into the BT App
    • Immediately report any deficiencies, accidents, or injuries to management via incident reports using the BT App
    • Ensure all equipment, tools, and supplies used for project tasks have been returned and maintained daily
    • Maintain daily labor timesheets and communicate hours to the proper labor source(s) to reconcile hours daily
    • Inventory equipment and supplies and communicate restocking needs with the PD and Purchasing team
    • Complete all final project paperwork and closeout documentation, including uploading into the BT App
    • Coordinate and document complete and/or partial project demobilization to ensure all resources are ready and available for the next project
    Administrative
    • Maintain a constant state of readiness for immediate 24/7 dispatch to projects
    • The deployment will include out-of-state projects for extended periods of time
    • Timely processing of weekly trackers and expense reports
    • Assist Logistics / Warehouse teams in maintaining and organizing warehouse stock, vehicles, equipment, etc., to ensure they are ready for immediate deployment
    • Must follow and abide by all company vehicle and DOT policies
    • Book and document travel arrangements in accordance with company policy
    • Present a neat and clean appearance in accordance with BT standards
    • Receive and thoroughly review project assignment(s)
    • Performs other related duties and assignments as required
    What you’ll need…
    • High School diploma or equivalent and at least seven (7) years of verifiable commercial restoration experience and/or training.
    • Must have extensive experience running large and complicated fires, water, and other types of disaster-related projects
    • Technological skills including internet, Microsoft Suite of products, industry related applications, etc.
    • IICRC certifications, including WRT, AMRT, FRST, ASD, Master Restorer, OCT, CDS RIA certifications, including CR
    • Ability to work a flexible on-call schedule
    • Ability to travel for extended periods of time
    • Management of demanding, complex projects
    • Must be a quick thinker and efficient problem solver
